Duke Raleigh Hospital has served Wake County residents as a trusted health care resource for nearly 30 years. The high-quality care provided by community-based physicians and other dedicated health professionals is complemented by a growing number of specialized services that reflect Duke’s world-renowned leadership in medicine.
Durham Regional Hospital is a comprehensive health care facility, providing inpatient, outpatient and emergency care and featuring a level II nursery, the Durham Regional Rehabilitation Institute and the Davis Ambulatory Surgery Center. Built on a quarter century tradition of caring, Durham Regional is dedicated to providing excellent medical care with the personal touch and convenience only a community hospital can offer.

- In what is probably one of the clearest hallmarks of excellence in research, Duke is consistently one of the largest recipients of funding from the National Institutes of Health.
- Duke Hospital was the cover subject of a special edition of TIME Magazine that explored the current state of American academic medicine by examining "a day in the life" at Duke.
