Nursing at Duke Health
Education
Nurses enjoy outstanding opportunities and support for continuing
education at Duke, where excellence in clinical and scientific learning
is an important tradition. Duke University offers graduate degree
programs in a variety of nursing specialties, including health system
leadership and outcomes, oncology/HIV, pediatrics and geriatrics,
as well as post-graduate studies in clinical nurse specialist and
nurse practitioner programs.
Duke nurses wishing to further their education are eligible to
take advantage of the university's employee tuition reductions.
As a result of these incentives, an unusually large percentage of
Duke nurses are pursuing advanced or specialized degrees at any
one time. Visit Duke
School of Nursing for additional information.
