The Education Services Department of the Duke University Health System is committed to becoming a regional / national leader in the design and delivery of continuing education. Our mission is :

• To provide opportunities for staff to acquire further knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to perform their assigned functions safely & effectively in the provision and support of patient care, research, and education.
• To provide for clinical experiences for nursing and other health professional student learners.

Duke Health Technology Solutions supports and develops clinical applications throughout Duke Health that assist staff in providing accurate, timely and outstanding patient care. Via web, workstation or PDA, clinical applications store and display the data critical to medical decision-making and communication.

Technology Education Services provides educational resources and support for Duke University Health System, including:

• Instructional help for new technologies that impact the health system
• Application support for educational projects
• Help with developing assessment instruments and instructional materials
• Advice on the instructional design process
