The Private Diagnostic Clinic (PDC) is the physician practice of Duke Health. It is one of the first and largest academic multispecialty group practices in the United States. The PDC currently owns and operates more than 140 clinics. Many of the PDC clinics are located throughout central and eastern North Carolina, spanning as far west as Winston-Salem and as far east as Fayetteville and Lumberton. Additionally, PDC providers offer services in locations that extend even farther across the state, and even into southern Virginia.
Community-based practices are also integral to how the PDC strives to put its patients first. With more than 1,850 physician members, the PDC practices are not only strategically located throughout North Carolina and range in size, from solo practitioners to multiple member groups.
